Welcome to the webpage of the church of St Mary the Virgin, Studham.

After considerable work by Nicola and the churchwardens the 3 churches of the Benefice are able to open again. Please see the details on the main Church page. The next service will be in St Mary Magdalene's, Whipsnade on Sunday 16th August at 10.30am where you will be made very welcome.

St Mary's, the Church of England parish church of Studham, is set at a tranquil corner of the village, but it is also one of the main spiritual and emotional centres of the community. The church and churchyard are a unique haven of peace and timeless contemplation. Normally kept open during the day for visiting and prayer, the church was consecrated in the year 1220 and contains fine medieval stone carving in the Early English style.
