St Mary's, the Church of England parish church of Studham, is set at a tranquil corner of the village, but it is also one of the main spiritual and emotional centres of the community. The church and churchyard are a unique haven of peace and timeless contemplation. Normally kept open during the day for visiting and prayer, the church was consecrated in the year 1220 and contains fine medieval stone carving in the Early English style.

Our Harvest Festival Service took place on 1st October. The church was decorated with flowers, fruit and vegetables which was then donated to the Salvation Army. The collection was sent to the Bishop of St Albans Harvest Appeal, Full of Beans, which is supporting farmers in remote parts of the Philippines.
